TRAVEL: BOUTIQUE HOTEL MEETS MALLORCA

"Wie aus dem Bilderbuch", anders kann ich dieses Hotel auf Mallorca nicht beschreiben. Mein Freund und ich haben uns letzte Woche für einen Kurztrip nach Mallorca entschieden. Die Hotelwahl fiel auf das Hotel Mar Calma. Das 4 Sterne Hotel liegt im Norden der Insel im Zentrum von Puerto de Pollenca inmitten einer Flaniermeile und nur zwei Gehminuten vom Hafen und dem Strand entfernt. Sowohl von außen als auch von innen besticht das Hotel durch sein Design. Das Mobiliar ist in schickem weiß gehalten und wird mit grauen und schwarzen Akzenten abgerundet. Auch die Zimmer sind in diesem Stil eingerichtet und haben mir wahnsinnig gut gefallen. Mein persönliches Highlight des Hotels war aber die "Rooftop" Terasse im vierten Stockwerk, welche nicht nur einen Whirlpool mit großer Liegewiese bietet, sondern einen tollen Blick auf den Hafen und die umliegenden Berge. Wunderschön, sag ich nur.
Ein weiteres Highlight war für mich auch das Frühstücksbuffet. Neben einer großen Auswahl an süßen und salzigen, kalten Speisen gab es täglich frisch zubereitetes Omelette oder Ei.
Das Hotel Mar Calma ist, so finde ich, der ideale Ort für Paare, die Erholung suchen, Wert auf Design legen und am Abend auch gerne durch die Stadt flanieren wollen.
Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

There is this one small beautiful boutique hotel in the north of Mallorca which I want to recommend you. Last week my boyfriend and I decided to spent our holidays at Mallorca. We have chosen the Hotel Mar Calma as our preferred accomodation. The Hotel Mar Calma is a four star hotel and located in the heart of Puerto de Pollenca, a small city in the north of Mallorca. It's just a two minute walk away from the harbour and the beach.
The outside as well as the inside of the hotel is well designed and fits perfectly together. Most of the interior are hold in a shiny white with little accent in grey and black. My personal highlight was the rooftop area which does not only offer a jaccuzi but also a great view to the harbour and the mountains.
Another highlight was for me the breakfast. The hotel does not only offer a great variety of cold spicy, sweet and fruity dishes it's also possible to order a fresh prepared omelette and boiled egg.
The hotel Mar Calma ist the ideal place for couples who like design, want to be close to the beach and want to walk across the streets in the evening.
I will definitely come back again.
